Unidentified gunmen reportedly kidnapped a yet to be identified Imo state lawmaker who was on his way to Anambra State.
The Imo state lawmaker was kidnapped at Uli in Ihiala local government area of Anambra state.
According to a trending video, the incident happened on tuesday night around 7;30pm.
The gunwieding men with AK47 rifles broke the wheelscreen of the government official car with the plate number IMHA-48 and took away the driver and the lawmaker.
Meanwhile, In recent days, there have been an upsurge of violent crisis between Eastern Security Network and Nigerian Army which prompt Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State to imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew in 10 local government areas in the state to check further breakdown of law in Orlu and other affected areas.
